Adam Lambert Magazine To Be Dedicated In Memory Of Fan
Glam rocker Adam Lambert lost a dear fan to a devastating act of domestic violence this holiday season. Terri Sanvicente of Houston, Texas was bludgeoned by a tire iron wielded by her children's father the night before Christmas. Known as a kind and caring person, Sanvicente passed away early Christmas Day from the injuries resulting from the incident. Sanvicente's alleged killer, Jason Bouchard, has been arrested on charges of aggravated assault.
Known as @glitteraquarius on Twitter, Sanvicente was the mother of three. Reports say Bouchard arrived at Sanvicente's home on Thursday and tried to burn it down. Sanvicente, her three children, and a babysitter managed to escape, but was attacked by Bouchard when they escaped. The babysitter tried to help but was also attacked, and said Sanvicente pleaded with Bouchard until the end. Bouchard waited at the house for police to arrive and was arrested without incident. The three children were taken into CPS custody
Like many of Lambert's avid followers, Sanvicente was a regular Adam Lambert tweeter, showing the American Idol star how much of a fan she was. Yesterday, Lambert wrote a note about Sanvicente (Dec. 26) on Twitter, as well as posting a link to a tribute page:
"My thoughts are with the children and babysitter of Terri. Terri had so much joy to share. Light and love to her memory."
Lambert Twitter fans have followed suit, posting messages to show the sadness they feel about Sanvicente and other women who have been victims of domestic violence and American Idol fans are helping out by donating to the Houston Area Women's Center, set up to help end domestic and sexual violence. Donations to the Women's Centre can be made through this link.
Because the vision of the Valentine's Day RockStar Weekly Adam Lambert fan magazine is to showcase how much Lambert's fans care about his music and messages - and how people have overcome some of their difficulties through Adam Lambert, we, at RockStar Weekly will be dedicating the magazine in the memory of Terri Sanvicente and hope to send copies to her children and her babysitter.
Also, please follow peasmom3 on twitter. She is a friend and neighbor of Terri's and is working on establishing a donation account to benefit Terri's three children.
