#Whew got home from the last rehearsal for my Glam Nation Tour round 10pm. Loooong day. I met w the lighting designer…costume designer…
#…music programmer, band and dancers and created all day. I’m so excited to get to work w such an amazing team to bring my vision to life!
#Would have loved 2 have been at the Idol Finale to wish Simon farewell and support the finalists, but this tour for my fans is my priority.
#HAHA. I have now just been made aware of more gossip and rumormill: First of all, i was never asked to appear on the finale in any capacity.
#2nd: I DID come down w a throat bug most likely caught on my flight back from this past weekends’ concert in Boston.
#was put on vocal rest yesterday from MY show’s rehearsals which doubled the work 2 do 2day since all equip. had 2 be sent back east tonight.
#sad that Im forced to defend myself bout situation no one pointing fingers knew any factual details about. Im working so hard on this tour!!

AMERICAN IDOL ALL THE TIME
Last year's runner-up Adam Lambert has been so insanely busy of late, it's been nearly impossible to keep up with him! Between jetting off to Europe to performing at last weekend's Wango Tango concert and headlining his own tour, kicking off June 4, the summer of Adam is almost upon us, and it promises to raise plenty of eyebrows, temperatures and probably blood pressure too.
To that end, we did manage to get our hands on this stunning photo from the video to his latest single, "If I Had You." The all-night shoot went down a week ago in L.A.'s Griffith Park, where Adam was joined by local friends and a few of his dancers for cameo roles. Rocking an Oliver Twisted, "Clockwork Orange"-inspired look, the imagery seemed even zanier than first described by media outlets, like this report by MTV.

Mr. Lambert, the 1950s are calling: interestingly, they don’t want their pompadour back. In fact, they’re fully admitting that no one back then managed to make a pompadour look nearly as sexy as you do.
Adam famously didn’t win American Idol, despite dominating the competition all season long – a result widely believed to be the result of American discomfort over Adam’s perceived sexuality. And he probably didn’t do himself any favors with his deliberately-provocative performance at last fall’s American Music Awards. But what makes Adam such a dynamic performer is precisely what sometimes lands him in hot water: his utter refusal to compromise his own unique artistic vision. Now that’s hot.
But the hottest thing about Adam? Under all that hair gel and eyeliner, behind the whips and chains, is obviously a very kind-hearted soul, and maybe just the tiniest touch of geek. Adam, you have a charisma of “18” – and if you’re truly the closet geek we suspect you are, you know exactly what we mean.

Throughout the “can gay people play straight?” hoo-ha hullabaloo conversation (which we’re 95% sure that you are 100% over) started by Newsweek’s homophobic piece of shit article “Straight Jacket,” we’ve all been taking special attention to praise Neil Patrick Harris’s ability to play a convincing “womanizer” and Sean Hayes’ ability to transcend the “stereotypically gay” Jack McFarland character of Will & Grace to play a love-torn heterosexual man in Promises Promises (and rightfully so, of course, they’re both fantastic actors). But an equally pressing Cultural Issue — AND DARE WE SAY IT A FEMINIST ISSUE* — has been simmering beneath the debate but not quite yet cracked the surface — perhaps ’cause it’s the most complicated bit of all. I’m not even sure that I know how to talk about “it.” But “it”’s Ramin Setoodeh’s most consistent theme, and it’s addressed head-on by Alan Cumming in his latest blog post, in which Alan summarizes the weeks events and then gives a bit of his own thinking and OMFG HANDS DOWN Cumming FTW!

What: Oprah Winfrey calls his designs "works of art." Tim Gunn calls him "a prodigy" and "the next great American fashion designer." Only 24 years old, Christian Siriano was born to design. Christian shows a full collection every season as part of New York Fashion Week, with past shows being sponsored by LG, Sprint, Victoria's Secret, Cibu International, and Aveda. He has designed for a growing list of celebrity clients, including Rihanna, Heidi Klum, Victoria Beckham, Lady GaGa, Vanessa Williams, Christina Hendricks, Alexis Bledel, Amber Rose, Pink, Estelle, Mena Suvari, Kelly Rowland, Nicole Scherzinger and the Pussycat Dolls, Becki Newton, Maggie Grace, Kat DeLuna, Tori Spelling, Melanie Fiona, Thalia, and Whoopi Goldberg in her role as host of the 2008 Tony Awards. He has signed on to design a full couture collection to appear in the upcoming film Eloise in Paris, starring Uma Thurman. Alexis Bledel, dressed in Christian's designs, was named to Vogue's "Ten Best Dressed" list in September 2009. Christian's current additional projects include joining the likes of Abaete, Alice + Olivia, and Patricia Field in creating a recurring line of shoes and bags for Payless which first became available in September 2009. Between his design projects, Christian has also written a style guide titled Fierce Style: How to Be Your Most Fabulous Self, available now, and he embarked on a book tour in the fall of 2009.
Brand Comment: It's an anomaly really, Christian doesn't often have time to read replies or reply to fans on Twitter, but his growth in followers is steadily increasing. He only tweets once every day or two, but gets lots of response. We aren't sure exactly why his Twitter is so popular, other than the fact that he was on television and people love him!
